Main Street Middle School is the only middle school in the Soledad Unified School District. We are an established Professional
Learning Community, and we constantly strive to help students achieve at high levels, by focusing our school plan, instruction,
activities, professional development, and rewards on improving student achievement. We maintain a singular goal and a singular
focus on student achievement.
We serve 7th and 8th grade students from the community of Soledad, and we receive students from five feeder elementary schools.
We provide a comprehensive program of academics for all students. We also host preschool.
Main Street Middle School serves a diverse population of students, and receives both state and federal funding. Main Street is
committed to following all regulations as required by each of the programs we receive funding from, as listed within this plan.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in the education process for their student. We ask parents to help us guide
their student to achieving high levels of academic success. We encourage them to carefully review all school communications and
contact the school if they have any questions or concerns.
