Welcome Letter from Principal
July 2025
Dearest Trojan families,
Greetings everyone and welcome to Main Street Middle School! My name is Lucette Zepeda, and I am the proud principal of Main Street Middle School. All the staff at MSMS are beyond excited looking forward to starting our 2025-2026 school year! The adults in this community are the first level of support for our students, and we believe that working together, we can collaboratively prepare our students to reach their goals.
There are a few changes for this school year regarding cell phones. The Mobile Device Board Policy (BP 5131.8) was revised on June 11th and it states that students in Grades TK-8 may not use cell phones, smartphones, smartwatches, or other mobile devices while on campus. Devices must be turned off and placed out of sight in a designated secure manner during the school day. In order to support the policy our school will be providing students with a Yondr pouch for their phone. This is something new for all of us and we thank you for your support and patience and we navigate through this implementation together. We will be posting more details and resources for you very soon!
