Heat Advisory for Soledad This Week
Posted Date: 03/15/26 (08:37 PM)

Dear Soledad Unified School District Families,
We want to make you aware that very warm temperatures are forecast for our area this week, with daytime highs expected to reach the low to mid-90s from Monday through Thursday. These temperatures are unusually high for this time of year.
Our schools will take steps to help students stay safe and comfortable, including encouraging hydration and monitoring outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day.
We ask families to help by reminding students to:
- Bring a refillable water bottle to school
- Wear light, comfortable clothing
- Use sunscreen if they will be outdoors
Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep our students safe and healthy.
Sincerely,
Randy Bangs
Superintendent
Soledad Unified School District
